Serving the Midwest and Northeast, Preferred Compounding’s Ohio color and black rubber compounding facilities are located just off the Ohio Turnpike/Interstate 80 near Akron. Barberton is also Preferred Compounding Corporation Headquarters. The Barberton facility has separate buildings for black and color rubber compounding. Equipment includes two black mixers, one color mixer, two gear pump strainers and full onsite development and quality control lab. The compounding process is controlled with Mesabi MixVision.
